Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles in the way he's known in the pop world, is an British composer and singer. Harry Styles belongs to the band One Direction. He is the son of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born February 1st, 1994 at Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive, along with three of his classmates, created a band group called White Eskimo. They won the Battle of Bands in 2009, thanks to their outstanding performance. Though he's been attracted to music, he also aspired to become an lawyer or physical therapist. In the contest, the group sang songs such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group became one of the candidates to be the winner. The band was in the third spot just behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle which were the winners. Harry Styles' group didn't win, but Cowell still paid $2 million for One Direction for them to agree to a contract with Syco.
